| Entering the Service Desk & IT Support Excellence Awards 2008 is easy. Just follow these 5 easy steps: |
Stage 1: Registration
Register online now to download entry forms.

Stage 2: Entry forms to be completed
Entry forms will be emailed to entrants upon receipt of the online registration form.
Each entry form should be accompanied by 5 copies of your written submission to the Awards office by noon, 12 March 2008. |
Stage 3: Selection of finalists
A preliminary judging panel will consider all entries and select three finalists for each category. You will be informed whether you have been successful as a Finalist by 25 April 2008. |
Stage 4: Selection of winners
The Finalists will then present to the final judging panel at a venue selected by SDI in May 2008. Site visits will also be made by judges to help them assess the support operations of the Larger Team Excellence Award Finalists.
The panel will decide the outright Winner of each award, with the exception of the Larger Team Excellence Award.
The final voting for the Larger Team Excellence Award will be cast by delegates at the SDI Conference 2008. Each finalist will present their case to the audience; voting delegates’ scores will be added to the judges overall scores and the overall Winner will be determined once all the votes are counted and verified. |
Stage 5: The Awards Evening
The Winners will not be revealed until the Awards ceremony. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered in to before or after the judging. |
